"Life is Short"?

Let me tell you the most cliché phrase in the world, "Life is short." 

And you know what's funny? That it is true. But since it is a cliché, no one takes it seriously.
On the contrary, people like me who have spent most of their life "alive but not really living," the fact that "there still is one more day ahead, the road still continues a little bit further," is a huge thing. MONUMENTAL, I'd say.

Truth is, this summer (2018) literally saved my life. After a rough childhood and then falling into the cycle of considering killing myself and pushing that idea aside over and over for so many years, I finally want to stay alive. I finally want to stick around. Yes, the demons will remain in their attacking mode, but the Corner Stone will hold me stronger.

What changed? Well...as Paul once said, "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." (1 Cor 13:13)
